The ride up to San Cristobal was very cool. Lots of switchbacks taking us up to just under 2200 m elevation. We passed lots of farms scratched into the hillside and the locals were mostly wearing their very colourful traditional dress. Very cool.
Here's some photos. I'll caption them later.
So we got a pretty good deal on the room in Huatulco. It was New Years Eve. These were the stairs to our room above the laundry.
Somebody asked for a picture of me.
Awesome motorcycle roads.
Climbing up from the coastal plains to San Cristobal de Las Casas
More awesome roads. Note switchback.
Basic but affordable.
Apparently there were only two people in town who know what this meant. They were both from out of town.
Necklaces made from everything in the markets.
Old doors and hardware.
Me at church.
Amazing old buildings in San Cristobal de Las Casas
